Producer Sam Raimi (Spider-Man™) brings audiences the terrifying thriller 30 Days of Night, set in the isolated town of Barrow, Alaska, in the extreme northern hemisphere, which is plunged into complete darkness annually for an entire month. When most of the inhabitants head south for the winter, a mysterious group of strangers appear: bloodthirsty vampires, ready to take advantage of the uninterrupted darkness to feed on the town's residents.

i havent seen this movie yet... but i have been reading some of ppls comments. how in the hell can you compare this to twilight.. twilight is a teeni bopper love flick...this is straigh up evil just by seeing the trailors.. must seee.. and will see....

i like zombies alot better, so when i first saw this movie i thought it would suck, but once u get into it its really good. i was suprised. there was alot of gore (which is good) and it wasnt gay like twilight... but they should hav a vampire apocalypse where instead of attacking a small town, how about the world!!!!

OK, this movie wasn't scary at all, death scenes were predictable but the atmosphere, great acting made it look very respectable. Another thing I loved about this movie was that it gave a new face to vampires. They are not undead creatures in capes that fly around romanticizing humans. They are blood thirsty creatures who look and act like animals.
All that snow, quiet, and darkness look so good. The Vamps seem to find it as comfortable as I would.
And Manu Bennett is looking fantastic in this film.

Zombies pwn vampires. No offense or anything to anyone, but that is my point of view. I was just watching some zombie movies with my friend and we wanted to see what this was about(though we knew it was about vamps), but I personally don't believe this looks like a very good movie. I know I shouldn't judge it by the fact that it is vampires rather than zombies; I'm just saying that the preview isn't too great.

Seriously this movie is kick ass story ever written. And David Slade which is this movie director is going to direct for Twilight Saga, Eclipse! God, he's such a vampire genius, like he's been one before!
