I have a PS3, but I have to say that by the look of it, Alan Wake is Heavy Rain with BALLS.

SHONENJUMPBOY on April 22, 2010 at 22:55

Now THIS is what I call a true xbox 360 game

Thefallenraptor on April 22, 2010 at 23:55

Piperploch on April 23, 2010 at 0:53

fantastic gameplay. its so addictive i can test games b4 they come out by being a free member of "BetaTestGamers" - google them, its free to signup u only need 2 do a short review and u can keep the game

ImNotAntoniosMom on April 23, 2010 at 1:03

sounds more like some random guy reviewing the game, instead of a trailer.

TruthBrothers on April 23, 2010 at 1:10

can anyone tell me the name of the song at 3:02?

CliffDiverBOA on April 23, 2010 at 1:13

T rated huh? I guese some people finally understand that gore isn't needed to make a scary game.
Keep it going Remedy this is on my top five list of games to get!

Combellinas on April 23, 2010 at 1:15

@GTCarro fail troll fail

rayeraye07 on April 23, 2010 at 1:23

Can anyone say "Game of the year"?

TimeBomb014X on April 23, 2010 at 1:50

@PuppyLovew123 well i don't know about FF but Silet Hill would still be considered m rated and what kinda Teen rated games do you play the only Teen rated games i know that are incredibly bloody enough for M rating is Uncharted and Fat Princess but most Teen rated games that bloody or gory and again i don't think i'll be all that scary don' get me wrong it looks great and it's trying to be a supernatural thriller but still i think a teen rating might tone down the scares

GTCarro on April 23, 2010 at 2:07

This game is the biggest disappointment of the year.
.
This is a sub-HD game.
.
Alan Wake is a 540p game (960x540) with a lot of low res textures.
.

evilbob77 on April 23, 2010 at 2:57

@evilbob77 oh and Heavy Rain.

Now THAT was a kick ass story

evilbob77 on April 23, 2010 at 3:48

i like a game with a good story. this game looks awsome.
but the best stories told in a video game belongs to either:
Uncharted series
God Of War series
MGS4

Alan Wake will soon join this list.
btw is it just me or dose this game remind you of Resident Evil 4?

quantechs on April 23, 2010 at 4:22

PC PLEASE

wallofmindlessness48 on April 23, 2010 at 5:01

3:09
nazi zombie reference

PuppyLovew123 on April 23, 2010 at 5:47

@TimeBomb014X I don't know, the rated M genre has been toned way down, in todays standards SH 1 or 2 and FF would be rated T. T rated games have gore, have language in them. You just don't need those things to effect gameplay and what you think you know? From previews and from hands on stuff I've seen and heard, people are getting freaked out from it. It's gotta be working.

Piperploch on April 23, 2010 at 5:50

mememe696 on April 23, 2010 at 6:16

Looks good, but the light thing isn't "unique". Of course, it does look like they did do a better job than ObsCure.

kill2565 on April 23, 2010 at 7:14

was the game cancelled for PC?
cause i heard from some people that it did but in the description it says X360/PC so was it cancelled for PC? someone plz tell me :|

TimeBomb014X on April 23, 2010 at 8:00

@Anak1ng but than look at Fatal Frame or Silent Hill great examples of mind fucking horror games than are rated M i'm just saying because it's T rated the horror lvl or phycolagical horror might not be as good as the mentioned games

Anak1ng on April 23, 2010 at 8:29

@TimeBomb014X And Remedy has stated that this is not a horror game as in gallons of blood and guts. They aim to mess with your head and that is imo the way to go. I'm scared about the events that I don't know of in advance, rarely about the things that are already happening on-screen...

biscoole on April 23, 2010 at 8:40
