The true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa's rugby team, Francois Pienaar, to help unite their country. Newly elected President Mandela knows his nation remains racially and economically divided in the wake of apartheid. Believing he can bring his people together through the universal language of sport, Mandela rallies South Africa's underdog rugby team as they make an unlikely run to the 1995 World Cup Championship match.

@simonlauchihang New zealand should just prove themselves again, they're a very good team,, yeah it's a setback that they where food poisened back then, but use it as a strength to win the next cups and not as an excuse for the one in 1995...
Because even 15years later It still touching everyone
@TheCrawfdaddy The new zealand team is a dang good team
i know it's just a theory but i've heard there where footage of players vomiting on the sideline, and there is an intervieuw with an allblack saying that 3 guys of the team left to eat fastfood and those 3 kept healthy while the others where sick, I'm not judging,, i don't know if it's real or not, but i'm having my questions, and still, that was 1995, 15 years ago, why are we still talking about that?
great piece of cinema, especially when the crowd were singing shosholoza which was quite moving
It's such a great film I would recomend it
