For all the people complaining the trailer is not as good as the movie... It is the official trailer, meaning I didn't make it. This is trailer that got people to see it a billion times... Trailer to the 1997 hit movie, Titanic. Starring Leonardo dicaprio, and Kate Winslet. Disclaimer: Not mine, don't sue :)

according to wikipedia this is one of the top movies for men to cry to because jack is a realistic "smart-ass" (in most movies the guy would be like "save yourself" but he's pleading to live when he's handcuffed...he's realistic), he's dating waaaayyy out of his league, so you root for him, and he has ingenius ways to get girls to take their clothes off.
As a girl I love him because he is crazy-attractive, and his personality is amazing...but the wiki article does have a point.
the funniest thing is that james cameron says that he is going to rerelease titanic in 3d...so that means itll beat avatar for its title...

I'm a guy who usually hates romance movies with "hot" male and female actresses in them, but I loved this movie. I think I liked it because it was based on an actual event rather than these stupid "You're my knight in shining armor" type stories. Seriously, the movie reduced me to tears and only a few films have been able to accomplish that.

Yup, Cameron announced it months ago. I don't know the exact date it comes out though.

I love this movie. I love how they showed how the life on the ship was like. There are a few movies that make me keep guessing and this is one of them, but I knew in the end they made the story line go like the actual events.
Because even though they knew the general story line (the titanic hitting the iceburg and it sinking) its nice to see detail....what life was like on the ship...what exactly caused it to sink what was happening on the ship while it was sinking. There's your mystery. There are a few movies where you can watch them over and over again, know the ending and still be on the edge of your seat hoping that its not going to turn out like that.

Yea, the trailer doesn't do this movie justice. This trailer kind of gives everything away though, there's not much mystery left.
