After having both the books, and this teaser reccomended by a friend, I don't see what the hype is for. Please, I mean no offence when I say this, but this series seems to lack a point. I see Stephanie Meyers (sorry if I have mis-spelled) wanted a new take on vampires, and wanted to appeal to a new audience, but this does somewhat degrade what vampires were originally depicted as. Could someone please inform me on the purpose of this frankly depressing creation?
